Risk Assessment at Events
Re-Pat Ltd take risk assessments seriously and will always work alongside the contracted events to ensure they are robust and in place.
It is the responsibility of the event organiser to ensure a valid risk assessment has been carried out prior to the event taking place and follows all the current guidelines ensuring there are up to date and fit for purpose.
These documents should be readily available to Re-Pat Ltd prior to the event or immediately upon arrival at the event.
The nominated person from Re-Pat Ltd will also carry out a dynamic assessment on their arrival at the event and also while the event is in progress.
Should the nominated person find any or observe any areas of rick that are of concern they will lease with the event co ordinator to ensure these are highlighted and an agreed action plan is put into place.
NB due to the nature of many events this assessment will need to be on going as the event progresses and we will endeavour to minimise any delays should changes be required.
Risk Assessments for Re-Pat Ltd
The first step when assessing the level of risk is to identify which individual could potentially be harmed by the activity. This will provide the basis upon which risk reduction can then beachieved.
Some risks will be role specific i.e. risks to lone workers or new and expectant mothers. In such cases these individuals should be risk assessed individually.
RE-PAT LTD will also take into consideration risk to members of the public or visitors to the workplace who could potentially be harmed by business activities being carried out.
Once the risks have been identified and assessed the Registered Manager is responsible for discussing the risks with the team to ensure that nothing has been missed.
Controlling the Risk in order to reduce and control risk RE-PAT LTD will take steps to protect individuals effected by our activities.
RE-PAT LTD will identify any high-level risk which require more expansive control measures through robust risk assessment.
Financial Risk
Re-Pat Ltd is a robust Limited Company, upon the contractual agreement for an event to be covered the company director will have already discussed all financial aspects as per the information displayed on the contracts/booking form.
In the unfortunate situation that an agreed event is cancelled by the event organiser, the company director(s) will have already discussed an agreed procedure with regard to cancellation fees (if applicable).
Contingency Plan
Re-Pat Ltd recognise that failure of equipment may occur at any time and we have covered this unforeseen event by ensuring all vehicles have a back-up / reserve of all equipment.
All vehicles carry spare equipment which is regularly checked, updated and serviced to ensure any unnecessary failures can be minimised.
In the unforeseen event of a vehicle breakdown/malfunction we will endeavour to inform the event organiser sufficient time to ensure a satisfactory alternative arrangement can be made.
These arrangements will be discussed fully with the event organiser to ensure no provision of service is compromised and that the alternative cover provided aligns with the original agreement.
Further information with any of the above please discuss with company director or nominated person.
